'Curious' goats Moose and Goose seek new home after winding up at the Stubbington Ark
Two goats are looking for a new home
Two ‘curious’ goats are seeking a home where they can be integrated into a herd after ending up at a rescue and rehoming centre.
Moose and Goose, the six-year-old Boar x Angora goats, are currently at the RSPCA Stubbington Ark and have been described as inquisitive boys who want to be where the action is.

The pair will eagerly be waiting by the gate for their meals, and can often be spotted spending their time keeping the grass short and sunbathing in their sun spots.
A spokesperson for the RSPCA Stubbington Ark said: “Moose is the more confident of the pair and will often come straight over to get some attention when you enter the field whereas Goose can be a little more reserved but will follow shortly after.
“On occasions Goose has shown he can be a little unsure around sudden noises and large crowds of people but has already gained so much confidence since being here at the centre.
“The boys could be introduced to an existing herd of larger horned goats, providing there is plenty of resources to house them all and they can live around children of all ages but must be supervised around interacting due to their large size.”
The pair are on the hunt for a field with post, rail and stock fencing, and they would benefit from a quiet small holding due to their nervous nature in a paddock a minimum of 1/2 an acre.
Prospective owners will need to have a CPH number from DEFRA to be considered by the rescue centre, which can arrange transportation providing it is within an hour radius of the shelter.
Moose and Goose are both neutered, vaccinated and currently have no health concerns, and the adoption fee has been set at £150.
