Image issued after shocking hit and run incident in Cosham left woman hospitalised with serious injuries
Police have released the image of a man they want to speak after a woman in her 70s suffered serious injuries in a collision with a cyclist.
The cyclist did not stop at the scene when the collision occurred on Cosham High Street just before 3pm on Friday, March 6. The woman is currently receiving treatment in hospital and police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
A Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson said: “We are issuing an image of a man we would like to speak to following a collision in Cosham.
“The cyclist did not stop at the scene. He was described as aged approximately between 15 and 17 years old, white, slim build, brown hair, wearing a grey tracksuit with a black stripe down the side. It is believed he was accompanied by anther male cyclist.”
