Celebrity sheep steal hearts at RSPCA Stubbington Ark as they look for new home
The famous flock that need a home
Meet the celebrity sheep who have stolen the hearts of staff at Stubbington Ark.
Five adult sheep - three girls and two boys - are looking for a new home where they can find their hooves after winding up at the RSPCA’s independent rescue centre.
The Ark said: “Meet our famous flock! Gordon Ram-sey, Wool Smith, Meryl Sheep, Lady Baa Baa – and Ewenice.

“From observations, we have found Wool Smith & Ewenice to be the most confident when approaching their staff and are quite comfortable with being stroked. Meryl Sheep, Lady Baa Baa and Gordon Ram-sey, are gradually following in their hoof-steps, but will still shy away from contact. They will require a home that can provide a patient approach, to build a bond and trust.”
The animals will need an acre field or bigger with post, rail and stock fencing, and a shelter they will have access to at all times. Field rotation will be essential for these high grazers and their new owner will need to have a CPH number from DEFRA.
They can live with children as long as there is adult supervision and they are able to mix with other flocks providing there is plenty of space for all animals.
The rescue centre has confirmed the males have neutered and all of the sheep have had a recent clear worm count, a bluetongue vaccination and they have been vaccinated with Bravoxin.
