The Titchfield Mill, in Titchfield, celebrated its official opening over the weekend after a five week closure for a refit which has welcomed a refreshed beer garden, new interiors and a private dining room.
The restaurant, which is part of the Vintage Inns group, dates back to 1719 where it was established as a water mill until 1939 before the building was converted into an inn years later.
Daniel Oliver, who has been the general manager at the restaurant and pub for the past eight years, said the team are ‘so pleased to open’ the doors to customers to show them the new an improved look.
He said: “It’s the same warm, friendly pub you know and love, just with a fresh feel. Whether you're after a cosy corner to unwind with a drink or a lovely spot to enjoy a hearty meal, we can’t wait to share it with you. We believe the Titchfield is the place to be for every occasion.
“Being in the pub trade is in my blood as my parents both worked for Mitchells and Butler and is one of the reasons why I've been at the pub for 8 years. It’s also a great area with a fantastic local community who really support us."
