Glee as historic restaurant The Titchfield Mill prepares to reopen with glossy new look following refurbishment
Old meets new as a traditional restaurant steeped in history prepares to reopen following a major refurbishment.
The Titchfield Mill, located in Mill Lane, will open its doors on Sunday, November 30 after a five week closure for an extensive face lift inside and out.
The restaurant, which is part of the Vintage Inns group, dates back to 1719 where it was established as a water mill until 1939 before the building was converted into an inn years later.

During its time as a restaurant, it has undergone a number of renovations including one back in 2017, which saw a complete overhaul of its bar and dining area.
Highlights of the most recent remodel include a refreshed beer garden, new interiors and a stylish private dining room that seats up to 10 guests.
The Titchfield Mill took to Facebook, saying: “Okay guys… have you missed us? Because we’ve missed YOU. We got the keys back today and we’re just a few days away from opening our doors again.”
More updates to follow.
