Gosport Ferry dishes out free coffee to beat 'Blue Monday' spirits this January

As January’s halfway point looms, a ferry service will dish out 100 free cups of coffee to beat the weekday blues on one of the most depressing days of the year.

The third Monday of January is often labelled as ‘Blue Monday’, with many claiming it is the most depressing day of the year after returning to work following the Christmas break.

To brighten people’s spirits, Gosport Ferry will be giving away 100 free cups of coffee on Monday, January 19, served by The Daily Grind Coffee Van opposite the ferry terminal.

“With giveaways taking place at different times across the day, passengers are encouraged to keep their tickets handy for a chance to enjoy a warming pick-me-up on their journey.”

The free drinks are limited to regular-sized flat whites, cappuccinos, lattes, Americanos and hot chocolates.
