Record Store Day 2026: Pie & Vinyl to hold golden tickets for turntable giveaway in celebration of Lenco's 80th anniversary
It is not only rare records to keep an eye out for this Record Store Day
Music lovers hunting for rare releases this Record Store Day may find more than they bargained for at one shop in Portsmouth.
Turntable maker Lenco are celebrating their 80th anniversary by hiding golden tickets in Pie & Vinyl on Castle Road on Saturday, April 18. Each ticket will win the recipient a prize with the total of all of the prizes on offer just over £2,000.

The golden tickets will be hidden in-store only with the popular Southsea record store having long queues for Record Store Day with some customers even arriving the day before.
Nathan Cole, a spokesperson for Lenco, said: “Record Store Day is all about supporting local stores and the people who love vinyl. As we approach our 80th year, it felt right to celebrate by giving something back, and working with a store like Pie & Vinyl makes it even more special.”
A golden ticket could see customers win one of four Lenco turntable models, the L-3810GY, LBT-335BA, LBT-335BA and LBT-345WA, as well as a 12 in 1 pro kit to maintain your turntable. The company was founded in Switzerland in 1946 and built a reputation for producing accessible well-designed turntables.
Record Store Day has been running officially since 2008 with 300 independent stores across the UK coming together to celebrate their culture and shine a light on the work they do year round.
