'Great opportunity' as Stonegate searches for new publican at The Bugle
Stonegate is on the hunt for a new pub operator
The Bugle, in Titchfield high street, is looking for an experienced operator who has ambitions to develop and grow the venue, which trades as a pub, restaurant and a hotel.
A spokesperson for Stonegate Pub Partners said: “This is a great opportunity for an experienced publican to take on a business.

“Located in the heart of Titchfield and linked to the main motorway, it is ideal for business people looking for a place to stay, in the refurbished letting rooms and dine when working in the south coast, and for visitors to the area. With the right food and drinks offer combined with its facilities the Bugle will be the go-to pub for locals.”
The Bugle has a dining area with up to 30 covers, eight rooms, a function room with up to 100 covers and a private car park for 10 vehicles, as well as a one-bedroom private accommodation ideal for a couple.
The new publican will take over the venue for 5 years fixed term, with Stonegate advertising an introductory rent offer of £18,000.
The listing says: “The pub is full of history and enjoyed by the locals and visitors to the area for the letting rooms and the strong food and drinks offer. The Bugle currently operates from a traditional one bar operation which retains many of its original features.”
