Mountain Warehouse announces opening date for new store in Gunwharf Quays

New shop to open this weekend
An outdoor clothing and equipment store is looking forward to sharing its “passion for adventure” when it opens in Portsmouth this weekend.
Mountain Warehouse has confirmed it will open in Gunwharf Quays on Saturday, August 15. Shoppers will have the chance to get their hands on a range of the outdoor retailers best-sellers including walking boots, waterproof jackets, camping kit, and other essentials.
Mountain Warehouse founder, Mark Neale, said: “We’re excited to share our passion for adventure with both residents and visitors in Portsmouth, and we’re thrilled to open our new store here.”

The outdoor retailer is undergoing an expansion after a bumper year of sales with 50 new stores opening globally this year. The new store adds to the brands presence locally, joining stores in Whiteley, Petersfield and Chichester.
It is not the first time that the company has opened in the popular waterfront shopping centre with their original outlet store closing around ten years ago. The new store is opening next to Henri Lloyd near to the Plaza.
