Stewart Parsons, area manager, said: ”We have been well-received with lots of customers coming in, and also lots of shares on Instagram and our social media pages. I was there when we opened at 7 and we had lots of people walking past that were intrigued.
“We are a local family business and one of the key reasons people visit us, not just for our coffee, is for our services and our team. We have a lot of people that start their day with us, who come in and build a rapport with our team who always go above and beyond to make them feel welcome.”
As well as a range of coffee and treats, Coffee Cup has started doing jacket potatoes with various fillings which Stewart said have been popular, including in Waterlooville on the opening day.
Alongside a new coffee spot for Waterlooville residents, the new café have brought jobs to the area.
Stewart said: “We are happy to be in Waterlooville and are looking forward to meeting all of the locals. We have recruited 10 new vacancies to local Waterlooville people and we are hoping people will venture in to see their friendly faces and help us build a good trade there.”
