Excitement as established Southsea hair salon announces re-brand after 41 years
A popular and well-established hair salon has undergone a rebrand unveiling a new name
Tony Wood Hairdressing has been based in Castle Road for around 41 years, with founder Tony Wood opening the doors to the salon in the mock Tudor clocktower. However, the salon has been owned by its former manager Liam Fry since 2019 with Laura Smith taking over the management role.
Liam said: “This rebrand is about honouring Tony’s legacy while recognising that the salon today is built by a whole team and community. The Woods felt like the perfect name for that next chapter.”
The branding has been described as an “evolution” rather than a “fresh start” with the same ethos of the old brand remaining but being built upon.
