Coffee Cup continues its expansion across the area
Coffee Cup opened its doors on its sixth coffee house with the opening of its second branch in Waterlooville.
The family-run cafe opened in Hambledon Parade, Hambledon Road, yesterday morning (May 12) following on from the successful opening within nearby Waterlooville shopping precinct in December.
Area Manager Stewart Parsons said: “We are very excited to have opened in Hambledon Road, an area we are new to but feel is ideally suited to bring our successful brand to.
“We have hired a brand new team of local people, alongside our experienced Manager and welcome all to come in and try our award winning coffee.”

The 45-seater coffee house in the former Swim Stop shop unit, compliments the other five Coffee Cup locations at Eastney Esplanade, Clarence Pier, Portchester precinct, Alver Valley Country Park and Waterlooville shopping precinct.
The company started in 2007 as a mobile kiosk on Southsea seafront and has seen fantastic growth to now employ over 80 local people, with more stores planned for the future.
“We are always looking for new, exciting locations to open up at, with our coffee shops in a mix of destinations such as at Alver Valley country park and Eastney Esplanade or within shopping precincts in Portchester and Waterlooville.

“As a local family business we like to think we offer something different to the corporate brands, with our brilliant staff always making everyone feel welcome, backed by a delicious range of cakes, pastries and meal choices.
“Our coffee shops offer a comfortable place to socialise and relax in, designed in an industrial style - we encourage you all to Wake Up and Smell the Coffee with us, now in Hambledon Road, Waterlooville.
