'It's brilliant': Cherished Hampshire pub The Vine Inn reopens with stylish new look following six figure refurb
Customers are being welcomed back to a popular Hampshire pub following a month-long closure for refurbishment work.
The Vine Inn, in Romsey Road, Romsey, has reopened after undergoing an extensive facelift costing a whopping six figures.
The Hungry Horse pub, which is part of Greene King, closed at the start of last month and has benefited from a new layout, new furniture and decor to create a cosy atmosphere.

Ash Williams, general manager of the Vine Inn, said: “It’s brilliant to be welcoming our guests back through the doors. We’ve created a brighter, more comfortable space for our customers to relax, dine and enjoy time together, and we can’t wait for everyone to see it.
“The Vine Inn has something to suit everyone, whether you’re coming in for a quick drink, seeking a delicious dinner spot or celebrating a special occasion. Seeing familiar faces return – and welcoming new ones – is part of what makes this pub so special, so come in and experience the Vine Inn’s hospitality today.”
The pub and restaurant, which has also gained new outdoor signage, festoon lighting and outdoor furniture, officially reopened on March 10 after its month-long closure.
