'Much-loved' Fox & Hounds reopens following major six figure refurbishment
A “much-loved” pub in the heart of Hampshire has reopened after undergoing a major six figure refurbishment.
Fox & Hounds, in Hungerford, Bursledon, closed on February 9 for a spruce up in time for spring - and it has benefited from an array of new furniture, lighting and stylish decor.

Stephen Hammond, general manager at the Fox & Hounds, said: "The Fox & Hounds is a much-loved pub in the heart of Bursledon, and we offer something for everyone here – whether you’re popping in for a pint after a long dog walk, enjoying a midweek meal with friends or celebrating a special event, we’re a true community pub for all.”
The Fox & Hounds’ exterior has also been improved with the addition of upgraded outdoor furniture and extended seating, providing even more space to enjoy an alfresco meal or drink all year round.

Stephen added: “Following our refurbishment, we’re proud to showcase a whole host of improvements both inside and out to bring our lovely customers the best possible experiences.
“We’re excited to unveil our new and improved look, and we look forward to welcoming both our regulars and new customers in to experience the Fox & Hounds’ warm welcome this Mother’s Day and beyond.”
