Steve is a sport reporter and editor covering the whole of Sussex, looking after the sport sections of papers in Chichester, Worthing, Horsham, Mid Sussex, Eastbourne, Hastings and Lewes and most points in between - plus the community sport pages of sussexworld.co.uk and the sport section of the new Chichester Observer app.
He oversees coverage of non-league football, Sussex and local cricket, rugby, hockey, athletics, horse racing, tennis, golf and many other sports played across West and East Sussex. Steve has worked for Sussex Newspapers since 2007 and for their parent company since 1990.
He is a big football and cricket fan. He supports Portsmouth FC and is a co-author of a new book on the 125-year history of the club. His other interests include 70s and 80s music and radio, and he occasionally writes on sussexworld.co.uk about radio industry figures and issues.
