Watercolour exhibition of local artist

In Portchester Library until the end of the month there is a small exhibition of local scenery painted in watercolour.

Dai Jones has lived in Portchester for over three years and has had a number of small exhibitions of local scenes in that time.

Dai moved down from Macclesfield in Cheshire after retiring from teaching. He has always had an interest in landscapes and has used this to get to know and paint the surrounding area.

As well as painting, Dai is also a member of The Solent Male Voice Choir which meets at the Pallant Centre in Havant every Tuesday evening, and he attends Gateway church Fareham.
