Vue brings the ultimate way to enjoy the big screen to Portsmouth

A new big screen experience featuring cutting-edge laser projection and next-level 3D sound has been installed at Vue Portsmouth.

EPIC By Vue at Vue Portsmouth is its newest and biggest screen featuring next generation HDR by Barco Laser projectors. The vibrant picture quality is paired with Dolby Atmos that delivers fully immersive and clear sound.

With up to six times the brightness and ten times the sound channels of a standard cinema, EPIC is the best way to experience the big screen at Vue.

The investment means film fans in Portsmouth can experience the ultimate way to enjoy long-awaited sequel, The Devil Wears Prada 2  on the big screen.

Later in the month, Star Wars fans will have the chance to see Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu on the EPIC screen when it is released on 22 May.

Lee Kemp, General Manager at Vue Portsmouth, said: “The arrival of our EPIC screen is the latest in a series of upgrades we’ve made to ensure we offer people in Portsmouth the best big screen experience possible.

“We recently introduced Ultra Lux seating, our most luxurious seating option and Laser by Barco technology in every screen.

“It’s not just hotly anticipated blockbusters we are set to show in our EPIC screen over the coming weeks. We also have Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (live in 3D) and we’re bringing Top Gun back to the big screen for its 40th anniversary.”
