Village Bakery's Breakfast Challenge raises almost £500 for March for Men with Kev

The Village Bakery and Cafe's Monthly Breakfast Challenge raised almost £500 for Petersfield based charity, March for Men with Kev.

A cheque presentation took place on Saturday, 2nd May. The Village Bakery in Purbrook, Waterlooville has acquired almost 50,000 followers and the venue has become a real community hub in the area with many taking on the timed challenge to eat a giant breakfast.

The challenge was very successful in raising awareness of prostate cancer and also much needed funds for the charities and organisations MFMWK supports (Prostate Cancer UK, PCaSO and The Rosemary Foundation).

This month the bakery is holding a similar challenge for women to raise money for Breast Cancer Charity.
