Southern Brave host Manchester Super Giants in penultimate The Hundred league stage clash

Two games remain for the Southern Brave’s 2026 league stage campaign, with the women looking to regain top spot at Utilita Bowl this weekend.

Southern Brave Women had been sitting top of the table for almost the entire season but defeat last time out against Welsh Fire saw them drop to second and into the eliminator qualifying spots.

This weekend, they return home to face the Manchester Super Giants, who trail them in third, before a scintillating match up away to Trent Rockets on Monday, who currently hold the top spot.

Second and third placed teams after the final round of league stage fixtures will face each other in the eliminator match on Friday 14 August, which acts as the semi-final ahead of the final two days later against the team that topped the league table.

Reclaiming the number one position therefore gives Southern Brave additional time off which could prove crucial in Sunday’s decisive final.

The men are currently sitting in sixth after two wins in the competition so far. They host the same two sides as the women, with Trent Rockets Men emulating its women’s side by holding top position, while Saturday’s visitors, the Super Giants, occupy fourth position.

The franchise is chasing its third Hundred title, after the men won in 2021 and the women were successful in 2023.

Saturday is an action-packed day at Utilita Bowl in The Hundred with Southern Brave taking on the Super Giants at 14:30 (Women) and 18:00 (Men) while MI London face Trent Rockets art 11:00 (Women) and 14:30 (Men).
