Digital transformation specialist Adepteq has launched the limited-time initiative for organisations in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas, aiming to support local businesses in improving collaboration, document management, and internal communication.

The six-hour SharePoint Workshop is designed to help organisations that are already paying for Microsoft 365 but not fully using tools like SharePoint effectively, which is a common issue across many UK businesses.

With Portsmouth home to a diverse mix of SMEs, professional services firms, and growing organisations, many are facing increasing pressure to modernise how they manage information and support hybrid working.

However, despite widespread adoption of Microsoft 365, businesses often encounter the same frustrations:

  • Poor staff adoption of SharePoint

  • Disorganised or difficult-to-navigate document libraries

  • Continued reliance on outdated network drives

  • Intranet platforms that employees rarely use

  • Uncertainty around what SharePoint can actually deliver

Adepteq’s workshop aims to address these challenges head-on, helping local organisations create more efficient, user-friendly digital workplaces.

The sessions are led by Phil Cave, Technical & Digital Transformation Director at Adepteq, who works directly with leadership teams and key stakeholders to assess current setups and uncover opportunities for improvement.

“Many organisations already have access to powerful tools like SharePoint but aren’t seeing the benefits,” said Cave.  “This workshop helps Portsmouth businesses understand how to use what they already have to improve productivity, reduce inefficiencies, and support better ways of working.”

Participants receive tailored recommendations, practical insights, and a clear roadmap for next steps, enabling them to move forward with confidence.

The free workshop is aimed at Portsmouth organisations that:

  • Have 25 or more employees

  • Are using, or planning to use, Microsoft 365

  • Have a SharePoint-related challenge or project

  • Want to improve adoption, governance, or usability

  • Can bring together key decision-makers for the session

Smaller organisations may still be eligible for a virtual version delivered via Microsoft Teams.

Following the workshop, organisations have the option to request a bespoke, no-obligation proposal, with clearly defined scope and fixed pricing, helping to avoid scope creep and unexpected costs, which are common concerns in IT projects.

Although workshops can take place later in the year, Portsmouth businesses must register their interest by 31st July to qualify for the free offer.
