Petersfield mayor opens town’s new Kwik Fit centre

Tuesday (6 May) saw the official opening of a brand-new Kwik Fit in Petersfield.  The UK’s leading automotive service and repair company has opened its first centre in the town, located on Dragon Street. Petersfield Town Mayor, Councillor Chris Paige, joined manager Darrell Mitchell and the Kwik Fit team to cut the ribbon and mark the company’s investment in the new centre.

There will be further celebrations of the new opening this Friday and Saturday (8-9 May).  Customers visiting the centre can try their hand at Continental Tyres’ “Spin to Win” game, with the chance to win a range of prizes including footballs, sports bags and sunglasses. 

In addition to the chance of winning a prize, Kwik Fit is offering customers 20% off all products and services bought in the centre on Friday and Saturday. There will also be Kwik Fit goodie bags on offer to the first 100 customers.

The centre, at 15 Dragon Street, has undergone a complete refurbishment over recent months.  The ribbon cutting by the mayor marks the completion of the process, with the centre’s nine vehicle bays and ramps all now in operation, ensuring that Petersfield’s drivers have access to the wide range of Kwik Fit’s products and services.

These not only include tyres, brakes, servicing and MOTs but also laser wheel alignment and calibration services for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).  The company has made a significant investment in ensuring the centre is equipped with the latest equipment in order to help keep Petersfield’s motorists safe on the road - without needing to travel to nearby Kwik Fit centres in Alton, Winchester, Waterlooville or Havant.

The centre is open seven days a week and as well as being able to accommodate all types of car, it can also serve van owners.  This will support local businesses by minimising downtime and helping them keep their vehicles on the road and visiting their own clients.
