The housebuilder, which has a new development at Buckmore Green in the town, donated more than £500 towards the new kit as part of its commitment to supporting grassroots sport and encouraging the next generation of sporting heroes.

The Blasters will be wearing the new shirts as they compete in the final matches of the season.

Petersfield Town FC is home to 50 teams including youth, all girls’ teams, a women’s team and four men’s teams. These are made up of over 600 players.

Richard Crabtree at Petersfield Town FC, said that the club is at the heart of the local community. He said: “Petersfield Town FC provides opportunities for youth, men’s and women’s football for all ages and abilities, creating an environment that promotes participation, development, teamwork and enjoyment.

“The club's aspirations remain focused on sustainable growth, improving facilities, expanding opportunities for young people and continuing to strengthen its player development pathway. Support from sponsors plays a vital role in helping the club achieve these goals and maintain affordable access to football for local families.

“Dandara’s generous donation has enabled the U14 Blasters to receive a new set of match shirts, ensuring players can represent the club with pride, while helping to reduce the financial burden on parents and guardians. Sponsorship contributions also support the wider development of youth football across the club.”

Zoey Rampton, Head of Sales, Dandara Southern said: “Petersfield FC are a highly regarded team in the local community and it’s great to kick off a summer of football excellence with this sponsorship contribution.

“Taking part in sport and being involved in a team helps young people develop valuable life skills, while also benefitting their mental and physical health. We hope this support encourages both current and future residents to get involved with the club - and perhaps the next England captain could emerge from this beautiful corner of Hampshire!”

Dandara is currently selling a selection of homes at Buckmore Green in Petersfield including two-bedroom apartment and two-, three-, four-and five-bedroom new homes. Prices start from £475,000 for a three-bedroom Bromley.
