Junior artist - Ella Rose Ditchman sells her art work, with an hour of the exhibition opening

The Portsmouth and Hampshire Art Society (PHAS) annual summer exhibition showcases work from local artists, in the beautiful setting of Portsmouth Cathedral, runs from 22nd to 30th August 2026.

This year we had several junior members exhibit, including Ella Rose Ditchman, who was thrilled, when on the Private View she sold one of her artworks to a very happy buyer (pictured here is Ella Rose Ditchman and Lesley Gilding) with her amazing artwork.

Another of our junior members– Lucas Bates, was awarded the 2nd prize in the exhibition.

Jessica Caws submitted her beautiful picture called The Black Cat and we had Lily Grech submit her painting called Run Wild. All are such talented youngsters we were super impressed with their work.

Entry to the exhibition is free entry, so why not come along and view exciting artwork for sale, from local artists and see the diverse styles and techniques of talented artists in your community.

Artists wishing to exhibit in our annual exhibition need to join as a member (before Jan 2027) please check out our membership page for more details.
