Hovertravel's HoverBus Joins National 'Kids Go Free' Travel Month This August

Families can enjoy free travel for children on the HoverBus throughout August

Hovertravel is delighted to confirm that its dedicated HoverBus service is taking part in the Government's national 'Kids Go Free' Travel Month, helping families make the most of the summer holidays while keeping travel costs down.

From 1 to 31 August, children aged 5 to 15 can travel free of charge on the HoverBus as part of the Government's summer cost of living initiative. The scheme allows unlimited free journeys for eligible children on participating local bus services across England, making family days out more affordable and encouraging greater use of public transport.

HoverBus, operated by First Bus on behalf of Hovertravel, provides a convenient connection between Portsmouth city centre, Portsmouth & Southsea railway station, The Hard Interchange, Gunwharf Quays and Hovertravel's Southsea terminal, making it easy for passengers to connect with the world's only year-round passenger hovercraft service to the Isle of Wight.

Whether families are heading across the Solent for a beach day, exploring the Isle of Wight's attractions, or simply travelling around Portsmouth, the free travel offer makes getting there even easier.
