Hovertravel launches new Triple Term Flyer to support teachers and public sector professionals

New great-value travel pass follows successful fare restructuring and offers significant savings for education and public sector commuters

Hovertravel has unveiled a brand-new Triple Term Flyer, providing outstanding value for teachers, academic professionals and other eligible public sector workers travelling regularly between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight.

The latest addition to Hovertravel's Professional & Education range has been designed to offer a highly competitive travel option for those commuting throughout the academic year, while remaining available to eligible professionals including NHS staff, police officers, firefighters and other qualifying public sector employees.

Valid across three school terms, the Triple Term Flyer can be used during the following periods:

• 1 September – 18 December 2026

• 4 January – 25 March 2027

• 12 April – 28 July 2027

For those who only require travel outside these dates on an occasional basis, Hovertravel's Professional & Education Flexi 10 ticket offers a convenient complementary option.

The launch represents another positive development from Hovertravel following last month's fare restructuring, which introduced a simpler, more competitive range of ticket options designed to make the world's only year-round commercial hovercraft service even more accessible to regular travellers.  This new ticket represents the culmination of research into how our customers used previous academic products and is designed to be more suited to their transport requirements.
