Hayling care home's summer fun

Wimborne Care Home is a delightful, homely, light and bright ‘seaside retreat’, fondly loved by residents and popular for respite stays. This week they really are in the mood for summer; the new patios are proving to be very popular – there has been handbell performances, cream teas, BBQ’s, craft sessions and listening to the Wimbledon Tennis.

After a recent garden facelift, Wimborne has 2 stunning revamped patio areas where residents have been out playing games, enjoying Al Fresco dining, relaxing with a glass of Pimm’s or sitting for a pleasurable concert performance.

Fresh air, enjoying the ambience under a sun umbrella, listening to a gentle breeze and the occasional distant seagull, garden time reminds us all of the holiday vibe that is so often enjoyed on Hayling. Wimborne is indeed such; a relaxed and happy home.

General Manager, Stephen Stace said; ‘We are all enjoying the summer so far. The weather means we have been able to get outside, we have courtyards that offer a chance to catch the rays from under a sun umbrella, if preferred. We have relaxed, smiling, well hydrated residents and an open door for anyone passing to stop for a cool drink.’
