Hayling care home welcomes new deputy manager
Wimborne Care Home are delighted to welcome Samantha Frith as their new Deputy Manager.

An Islander for 30 years she has raised her family here and has enjoyed a career in care (mostly on Hayling) for over 33 years.
Starting out as a horse groomer she had a spell as a vet’s receptionist before finding her 'calling' when her children were tiny. Sam did night shifts in care and day shifts as a Mum, when asked when she rested she laughed and said she is a 'worker not a shirker!'.

When working for a local Domiciliary Provider and whilst in a local care home she would follow the Wimborne Facebook page for inspiration on the vast range of activities and often found herself recommending Wimborne to her clients - she knows care is personal and it is important to find the right care location and offering for the individual
Sam is still on induction and is enjoying her training, describing herself as 'blown away by the support'. She is looking forward to caring more for residents (she is very hands on) and supporting her team.
In her spare time, she is a Harry Potter fan, loves the Lego sets, is artistically talented with felting and wool portraiture and is a pretty talented baker.
