Hayling care home to host 'exceptional open day' on July 4

Wimborne Care Home on Hayling is well known locally, it is a long-established care home that has been part of the Barchester family for over 25 years.

Light and airy with a strong family feel it has up to 47 residents living in a single storey bungalow not far from the beach and not far from the village centre in Mengham.

With individual ensuite bedrooms looking out onto wildlife filled gardens, welcoming courtyards, a full and engaging activities programme and a recent 5 star environmental health rating Wimborne is very proud to open its doors on Saturday 4th July and to invite and welcome prospective residents, visitors, guests and families who would simply like to learn more.

As such a special programme of activities especially for the Open Day on Saturday 4th July has been created and anyone who would like to partake of any element is invited to call or email and book into as much as they’d like.

11am TALK (90 mins inc. Q&A and discussion) – Dementia Behaviours, how to help your loved one

12.30   join us for lunch (enjoyed in the garden, weather permitting)

1.15pm Walking and talking tours of Wimborne Care Home, followed by tea and cake.

 2.30pm TALK (90 mins inc Q&A and discussion) – Reducing the stress of support (for elderly, frail or those living with dementia); how to help care and help carers
