Hayling care home employee of the month George Rixon

Wimborne Care Home on Hayling Island has a truly wonderful team. They are delighted to celebrate the particular dedication of George Rixon who has been nominated as Employee of the month by colleagues, residents and their families.

George is an Islander and has been working at Wimborne for a couple of years. He joined the team after graduation and specialises as a senior night time carer.

George is a very valuable member of the team, he brings dedication, compassion and a reassuring presence for residents throughout the night. His role requires patience, attentiveness and a genuine commitment to ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable and cared for = qualities George displays consistently.

As a senior night carer George is an important source of support for his colleagues, helping to lead the team and ensuring that high standards of care continue around the clock.

What makes George particularly special is the calm and caring way he approaches his work. Whether supporting a resident who needs reassurance during the night, responding to changing needs or helping colleagues. George can be relied upon to go that extra mile. His commitment is noticed by everyone at Wimborne.
