Hayling care home announces employee of the month

Wimborne Care Home is an especially well-regarded care home on Hayling Island. They are absolutely delighted to announced that a hugely popular and essential member of the team has been voted Employee of the Month for July.

Kate Godwin, a Hayling Islander, has recently been promoted from Home Assistant Administrator to Administrator for Wimborne, after less than 18 months working at Wimborne. She has been transitioning roles in July and in some instances had both responsibilities. Her diligence, good humour, ability to remain warm and calm led to her nomination.

For many of Wimborne’s visitors Kate is the first person they meet, for callers she has been the first individual they’ve spoken with. Kate has a reassuringly capable manner and colleagues love her tremendous sense of humour.

General Manager, Kelly Brown said; ‘We are so lucky to have Kate here at Wimborne, this achievement is well deserved.’ Kate herself said ‘I’m thrilled to receive this recognition and thank residents and colleagues for their nominations.’
