Arena Offices, which operates Langstone Gate as part of its portfolio of 12 serviced office locations across southern England, received the prestigious award in recognition of the extensive refurbishment completed in 2025.

The accolade celebrates the transformation of one of Havant's most recognisable office buildings, located at the gateway to the town on the corner of the A27 and Park Road South.

Originally opened by Arena Offices in 2018, the four-storey building underwent a comprehensive renovation programme to establish it as one of the South Coast’s leading serviced office destinations. Today, the two-acre site accommodates 28,000 sq ft across 40 companies, ranging from entrepreneurs and SMEs to large corporates, and serves as a thriving hub for businesses throughout the region.

Delivered in partnership with Arena's in-house design company, Enenco, the refurbishment included a striking new glass reception extension, upgraded exterior finishes, enhanced landscaping and planting, new outdoor seating areas, and a state-of-the-art meeting room equipped with the latest audiovisual technology.

The project was designed with client wellbeing at its core, creating a contemporary workspace that supports productivity, collaboration and business growth.

Helen Deverill, Commercial Director at Arena Offices, who collected the award alongside Regional Operations Manager Debbie at the ceremony held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Southampton, said: “We're delighted that Langstone Gate has been recognised as Workplace of the Year. This award reflects the significant investment we've made to create an outstanding environment for our clients and their teams.”

"Because we own our buildings, we're able to continually reinvest in them, ensuring they remain high-quality, future-focused workplaces that deliver real value. Winning this award is fantastic recognition for everyone involved in the project and reinforces our commitment to providing exceptional workspaces where businesses can thrive."

The Workplace of the Year award recognises excellence in workplace design, innovation and occupier experience, highlighting Langstone Gate's successful transformation into one of the region's premier business destinations.
