Havant care home gives local donkeys a £250 helping hoof
Bedhampton Court care home has given a local donkey sanctuary a helping hoof after its summer fete raised £257.

Residents, relatives and staff at Bedhampton Court, on Hulbert Road, came together for a bray-liant afternoon of summer fun, with the event raising money for the Hayling Donkey Sanctuary- helping to support the sanctuary and the donkeys in its care.
The event gave residents the chance to enjoy time with family and friends, while staff helped organise the fete and its fundraising activities.

A spokesperson for Bedhampton Court said: “We were delighted with how our summer fete went and it was lovely to see residents, relatives and staff all getting involved.
“Raising £257 for the Hayling Donkey Sanctuary was the perfect way to round off the event. It is a fantastic local cause and we are pleased that the money raised will help support the donkeys.”
The Hayling Donkey Sanctuary, on Hayling Island, provides care and a safe home for donkeys in need.
Bedhampton Court is a 47-bedroom care home providing residential, nursing, respite, dementia and palliative care. The home is surrounded by landscaped gardens and has a range of communal spaces, including lounges, a conservatory and courtyard garden.
