Hampshire Women continue fine form as season nears climax

After a convincing win over Yorkshire at Utilita Bowl at the weekend, Hampshire Women have maintained their strong form heading into the final stages of the Metro Bank One Day Cup.

Hampshire face current league leaders, The Blaze, on Wednesday 9 September at Utilita Bowl in a table-topping decider, with hopes of a first place-finish kept alive following Hampshire’s dominant display against Yorkshire at the weekend.

Naomi Dattani also took three wickets as Yorkshire only managed 166, despite Jess Jonassen scoring 64.

In the bat, Hampshire Women captain Georgia Adams made light work of the chase by backing up her century in the last match with a half-century as Hampshire won by seven wickets.
