Measures included the Your First Home Scheme, which aims to help 70,000 people achieve homeownership, alongside an additional £1.5bn for social and affordable housing to support the delivery of 10,000 homes across England.
Rob Hart, divisional MD at Barratt David Wilson Homes said: “We welcome measures that can help turn the aspiration of homeownership into a reality for more people. We look forward to seeing how these commitments translate into practical support for buyers and help sustain the delivery of new homes in our region.”
