Hampshire housebuilder backs sustainable award
A leading Hampshire housebuilder has announced it will be sponsoring ‘Sustainable Development of the Year’ category for a second year at the South Coast Property Awards 2026.

Barratt David Wilson Homes, which has previously scooped up the title of ‘Residential Development of the Year’ at the Awards, is sponsoring the category as part of its commitment to protecting local biodiversity and promoting environmentally conscious placemaking.
Striving to become the UK’s most sustainable housebuilder, Barratt’s Harbour Place development in Bedhampton saw success in the 2023 South Coast Property Awards for its thoughtful design, 30.5 acres of green space and energy-efficient technology to make homes cheaper to run.
Barratt David Wilson Homes, Managing Director Matt Paine said: “These awards are a testament to the difference the property industry is able to make for both people and places. We’re delighted to sponsor this category for another year and put those championing sustainability in the spotlight. Our win in 2023 for Harbour Place is something we’re still immensely proud of.”
Now in its ninth year, the South Coast Property Awards celebrates and recognises excellence across the region’s property sector.
Award winners will be announced at a prestigious black-tie gala on 11th June 2026 at Leonardo Royal in Southampton.
