Here is your chance to discover what life is like at a local care home
Bere Grove Care Home in Gales Rise, Horndean, will be opening its doors to the local community for an afternoon of live music and refreshments on Saturday 25 April 2026.
Taking place between 10am – 4pm guests will be able to enjoy home-made cakes prepared by Jon Scourfield, Head Chef and have the chance to meet the team, take a tour of the home as well as enjoy musical entertainment from 2pm.
Graham Allen, General Manager at Bere Grove says: “I’m excited about welcoming new visitors and existing friends of the home to our open day. Looking for care can be a little bit daunting, but the team here at Bere Grove will do all we can to provide all of our guests with the guidance and support they need, and answer any questions, big or small. Our open day is a great chance to enjoy some delightful entertainment in a homely and friendly setting, we hope to see you there!”
Bere Grove Care Home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which is committed to delivering personalised care across its care homes and hospitals. Bere Grove provides residential and dementia care for 60 residents from respite, post-operative care to long term stays.
