Do you worry about taking equipment or if you can get what you need to where you are going? Oxygen, wheelchairs, mobility or access aids? Life for an adventurer isn’t always easy. Life if you want to go ‘anywhere or do anything’ may have changed and you simply may fear you’ve lost the opportunity or your nerve.

‘Yes you can – Travel and Adventure’ is going to be a day like no other. Experts from UK wide companies are gathering, on our doorstep! Denmead Grange is a welcoming care home, nestled in the woods on the outskirts of Denmead, they are ‘hosting and there will be homemade tea and cake throughout, enabling all visitors to chat, comfortably. To ask questions in a relaxed and calm environment and to have the chance to ‘see the possibilities’, perhaps ‘once more’. If your loved one has dementia – come and chat to Dementia Adventure. Learn about the ease of cruising with Mobility at Sea, so much to see, it’ll be time so well spent.

‘Yes You Can – Travel and Adventure’ is a relaxed ‘drop in for a chat’ style day, running 10.30 – 3.30pm and everyone is welcome. The event was devised because, too often the barriers to travel make the opportunity, excitement and experience appear out of reach for so many and this gathering of experts will help dispel fears, build confidence and facilitate chances.

Everyone deserves the chance to explore, in the words of Mobility at Sea; ‘Wether that is a grand voyage across the ocean or a peaceful weekend in the British Countryside. This event is open to those with travel challenges of all ages, just pop in and see what the right support for your situation might look like.

General Manager Abbie Johnston said ‘It really is just wonderful to have this exceptional opportunity here at Denmead Grange. We are passionate about supporting independence and making memories, so our ‘Travel and Adventure Day’ is a group of exceptional organisations who are all like-minded. Helping individuals and families break down the barriers to travel, enabling creation of an accessible opportunity with fun, smiles, pleasure and treasured times! We cannot wait to welcome you.’

This event is held at Denmead Grange, Off Forest Rd on Parklands Business Park PO76XP
