Clanfield Summer Festival set to bring the community together for a day of family fun
One of the biggest dates in the Clanfield calendar is back, as Clanfield Summer Festival returns on Saturday June 27 with free entry for all.

Running from noon to 6pm, the festival will feature live music, performances, food and drink, and a packed programme of family-friendly activities.
The fundraiser will support Clanfield Centre’s café, activities, social groups and wider work in the community. The event will also raise funds for Rowans Hospice through an on-site raffle – a cause that means a great deal to many local people. Sponsors for this year’s festival include Develotec, Zebra Business Thinking, BW Plumbing and Heating, Scope Innovations and Solar Powerful.

Visitors can enjoy a bar and grill serving alcoholic and soft drinks, burgers and hot dogs. Unlimited soft play will be available with a £5 wristband, including access to a bouncy castle, slide, race track, play pit and soft play area. There will be arena games for children, giant bubble workshop and dog competitions. Festival-goers can also get creative in the merch tent, where they can design and take home a customised bag or cap.
Ride on Rascals will take over the tennis courts with cars and trikes for children to race around on, while The Cuddle Corner petting farm will give visitors the chance to meet and handle a range of animals.
Musicians taking to the stage include Local Vocals, Counterfeits, Beth Hendrick and Midnight Dynamite.
Clanfield Centre Manager Natasha Glover said: “The Summer Festival is one of the highlights of the year for us. It is always wonderful to see the community come together and enjoy the day. The funds raised make a real difference – both for Rowans Hospice and in helping us continue to support people throughout the year. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back.”
Even if the weather takes a turn, Clanfield Centre will have tents and equipment in place to help make sure the day goes ahead in all conditions.
Community First will run shuttle buses every 30 minutes from Peel Park, South Lane Meadow, Hawthorn Road and First Avenue, with a suggested donation of £2 per person. Blue Badge parking will be available on site and must be pre-booked by calling 02394 211650.
