A Southsea business is marking its fifth birthday
This May marks an exciting milestone for Tiled, an independent tile and bathroom showroom, as the business celebrates its fifth birthday.
Founded in 2021, Tiled began its journey on Hayling Island before making the bold decision to relocate to Marmion Road, Southsea three years ago. The move was a significant step, but one that has firmly paid off.
“Southsea has been the perfect home for us,” says founder Helen. “We love being part of such a vibrant, design-conscious community. The mix of period properties and ongoing renovations means we’re able to work closely with homeowners on really exciting projects.”
Since opening its Southsea showroom, Tiled has built a strong reputation for helping customers bring their homes to life through carefully selected tiles and a highly personal service. Whether it’s a full house renovation, a local business fit-out or simply refreshing a space, the team takes pride in guiding customers from inspiration through to completion.
Over the past year, the business has expanded its offering beyond tiles, moving into bathroom design and supply. This natural progression allows Tiled to support customers with a more complete service, helping them create cohesive, well-considered spaces.
“We found that many of our customers were looking for help beyond tiles,” Helen explains. “I'm excited to say we are now officially a family run business introducing my husband, Jay Pyper, to the team and introducing bathroom design, supply and even installation if required. This means we can now support projects in a much more joined-up way—from the initial ideas right through to the finished room.”
Five years on, Tiled continues to grow while staying true to its original ethos: combining great design with approachable, expert advice.
