The Brand New Heavies head a whole host of big-name bands at this year's Gosport Sunset Festival, which celebrates 35 years of Festivals in Gosport's parks.

Brand New Heavies, who had a string of hits, including 'Midnight at the Oasis' are joined by other well-known acts, including The South, Altered Images, The Beat Featuring Ranking Roger jnr, Chris Difford from Squeeze, Tom Hindley from Inspiral Carpets, and many more. In fact these acts are a big coup for Gosport, being the biggest names to appear there for years.

As well as these big names, the festival will also host tribute bands such as the world-famous Bootleg Beatles, Forever Queen, ABBA the Fever, Fleetwood Collective, and Thunderstruck UK. While the bigger names playing in the big top are ticketed, much of the event remains free, with over 60 acts on 3 stages, including the very popular, Underground Overground Marquee, where anyone is welcome to watch without tickets.

Also at the festival are many popular local bands with some surprise come-back performances promised of some old local favourites. The festival also has the best street food, multiple bars, and free kids entertainment. This year sees the introduction of a hidden prohibition VIP area, which looks to be a very interesting new addition to the festival.
