The event brought together a diverse group of professionals, community leaders, and local guests, all united in celebrating the achievements, experiences, and contributions of women within the community. Throughout the event, attendees shared personal stories, professional journeys, and reflections on the progress they have made as well as what they would still like to achieve. They were championing equality and opportunities open to women.
The atmosphere was warm, uplifting, and filled with mutual respect, as women from different generations connected over shared experiences and inspiring conversations. Residents at Bere Grove Care Home are always delighted to welcome the community into the home and were especially delighted to witness such a meaningful event, celebrating the achievements of women past and present.
The event highlighted the strength of the community partnerships and the importance of creating spaces where voices can be heard and accomplishments recognised. From healthcare professionals, charities and local business representatives to community advocates and volunteers, the day showcased the breadth of talent, commitment and dedication within the area.

We were honoured to welcome so many inspiring individuals into our home. Seeing different generations come together to share stories and support one another was truly special, and I’d like to thank everyone who attended for making to time to come along and celebrate with the team.”
The attendees came together to network, share experiences and enjoy a special lunch, there were plenty of smiles and attendees left feeling empowered and connected.
It was, without doubt, a success day, celebrating strength, resilience and community spirit enjoyed by all.
