Bere Grove care home celebrates 10-year partnership with spectacular fashion show raising £500 for dementia charities
Bere Grove Care Home hosted a truly fabulous fashion show in celebration of 10 years of collaboration with Barchester Healthcare, alongside the wonderful team from Always Glamorous Hair and Beauty.

The Always Glamorous girls lit up the catwalk with a spectacular performance, taking residents, relatives, and members of the local community on a dazzling journey through the decades. From the elegance of the 1930s to the bold styles of the 2000s, iconic fashions and hairstyles were brought to life with flair and creativity.
Guests were also treated to live music and a surprise appearance from none other than Elvis, adding even more excitement to an already unforgettable afternoon. The event was filled with glamour, nostalgia, laughter, dancing, and cherished memories shared by all.

Susan Hume from Always Glamourous Hair and Beauty said: “The event was fantastic and a great way to celebrate 10 years of working with Barchester Healthcare and to raise over £500 for dementia charities is truly incredible. We had so much fun and are looking forward to celebrating the next milestone.”
A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who attended, supported the raffle, and helped make the day such a success. We are delighted to announce that over £500 was raised, with donations going to the Alzheimer’s Society and Recapture Life a local charity providing Cognitive Stimulation Therapy to those impacted by dementia locally.
Graham Allen, General Manager at Bere Grove in Horndean said “Congratulations to Always Glamorous on this incredible milestone, and thank you for helping create such a memorable celebration at Bere Grove.”
