A free farm activity on offer on Hayling Island this Friday - and everyone is invited

The wonderful Wimborne Care Home on Hayling Island always has a wide variety of activities and entertainment on offer.

This Friday, 28th August is going to be something very special and everyone is invited.

From 2 – 4pm their garden will be full of farm animals, specially arranged this ‘Farm Visit’ has been organised by Senior Activities Coordinator Zoe Freeman. ‘It’s a popular activity, we have residents whom have had lots of animals in their lives and this visit offers a chance for joy, connection, reminiscence and cuddles too’ she said.

The Community is warmly invited to join and enjoy the animals; anyone can drop in, so it is a wonderful chance to bring the children during the school holidays and at the start of a glorious Bank Holiday weekend! Wimborne is located along Selsmore Rd, Hayling, PO11 9JZ, with parking available on the road also.

General Manager Kelly Brown has said ’A Farm Visit is a wonderful activity and our residents are already anticipating a great afternoon! As a farm lady myself I know the joy these positive interactions will bring and can’t wait to share these happy moments.’
