Mia Gordon, centre director at Whiteley, said: “Doggie Day is always one of the most anticipated events in our calendar and we know just how much our local community looks forward to it each year.

“It’s a brilliant way to bring people together, celebrate our love for dogs and create a fantastic atmosphere at the centre. We’re proud to be a dog-friendly destination and can’t wait to welcome visitors and their four-legged friends to Whiteley this weekend.”

Alongside the dog agility course, there are a range of fun categories to include all dogs such as Waggiest Tail and Best Trickster. A professional photographer will also be in attendance to capture a keepsake of you and your dog.

While the event is free, the organisers ask if attendees can make a small donation to the charity Guide Dogs for the Blind.
