Victorious Festival 2026 LIVE: Epic - and windy - start to three-day spectacular with Vengaboys and Richard Ashcroft among the highlights

Victorious Festival 2026 gets underway

Thousands of people have descended on Southsea Common for the first of three days of live music at Victorious Festival.

Wet weather was largely kept at bay for day one at Victorious but that isn’t stopping the wind which is battering the festival site, with rain anticipated in the coming days.

M60 kicked the weekend off with an electric performance on the Common Stage and they were followed by a lively set from Rudimental who got the crowd in party mode.

Also amongst the star-studded lineup is Common Stage headliner, Richard Ashcroft, with Faithless doing the honours on the Castle Stage. This year’s event also features a re-creation of the much-loved Portsmouth pub Little Johnny Russells. However it was temporarily shut for a few hours as a result of the high winds.
