"We are delighted to announce" - Extra tickets released for hugely popular Standing With Giants installation at Fort Nelson
Extra tickets have been released for a hugely popular installation commemorating the British servicemen who died on D-Day.
The ‘For Your Tomorrow – The People’s Tribute’ installation by Standing With Giants has been running since October 22 at Fort Nelson with the organisers “overwhelmed” with the response. From early on Fort Nelson advised people to book in advance to avoid disappointment as demand to see the display soared.
It has now been announced that more tickets have been released for dates between November 18 and January 25, when the installation will close.
Royal Armouries Fort Nelson announced the news on social media: “We are delighted to announce the release of more tickets to see Standing with Giants at Fort Nelson.
“We were so overwhelmed by the response to For Your Tomorrow – The People’s Tribute by Standing With Giants, that we have been working hard behind the scenes, to enable more people to visit.
“Please note - these are the last tickets for Standing with Giants and the installation will not be extended after January 25, 2026. We look forward to welcoming visitors with pre-booked tickets to see the D-Day tribute.”
By the time the display closed in January it is expected that 80,000 visitors will have seen the tribute.
Tickets to ‘For Your Tomorrow – The People’s Tribute’ can be booked at royalarmouries.org.
