Popular Emsworth Arts Trail makes a return this weekend as it celebrates is 25th anniversary
The popular Emsworth Arts Trail is returning this weekend to celebrate its 25th anniversary, marking a significant milestone for one of the region’s most established openstudio events.
The 2026 trail will showcase the work of nearly 100 artists across studios, group exhibitions, and community venues throughout the town in an event founded by a small group of local artists.
The trail takes place over two weekends - April 25 and 26, and May 2 to 4 - and welcomes 19 new artists working across a wide range of disciplines, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, textiles, woodwork, jewellery, and glass. All venues located within approximately one mile of the town centre with a map available at emsworthartstrail.org.uk
A number of artists will open their studios to the public, offering insight into their creative processes and the opportunity to purchase original work directly from the makers. Artwork will be available at a variety of price points, ensuring the trail remains accessible to a broad audience.
In addition to individual studios, group exhibitions will be held in community centres, popup galleries, private gardens, shops, pubs, and other venues, ensuring art is visible throughout Emsworth.
Carol Price, Chair of the Emsworth Arts Trail, said: “It is such a privilege to welcome you to this very special Silver Anniversary Trail. The last 25 years have seen the growth of wonderful creativity in the ever-expanding Emsworth Arts Community, and it continues to flourish and inspire.
“The trail has become the Herald of Spring reaching every corner of our picturesque seaside town and we’re really looking forward to meeting you in our many and varied venues.”
