9. Old Portsmouth to Eastney
If you are looking for a breath of fresh air this Autumn then there is nothing better than a coastal walk. The three-mile stretch from Old Portsmouth to Eastney along Southsea seafront makes it to perfect walk for everyone as whether you take in the whole walk or just some of it. Obviously there are ongoing sea defence works happening in front of Southsea Common, but there is a temporary pathway which links up Clarence Pier to the prom near Blue Reef. There are so many pubs and eateries to choose from in Southsea and Old Portsmouth, but our pick is the Still and West in Old Portsmouth which is right next to the cobbled street and harbour. It's cosy atmosphere and fabulous food make it a great place to visit this Autumn. | The News

10. Cams Hill/Fareham Creek
A fabulous stroll along Cams Hall and Fareham Creek will certainly blow the cobwebs away this Autumn. You can take a short stroll along just part of the Creek, or park up at the carpark at the the end of Shearwater Avenue and then head for the water to then do an entire circuit along the coastline (and a bit on a road). Just watch out for a few golf balls! If you are feeling adventurous the shoreline can be followed all of the way along to Portchester Castle. A great place to visit at the end of your walk is the The Cams Mill. Its warm and traditional feel, coupled with fabulous food, mean it is a real winner! | The News
