Magical Santa Bus service returns to Portsmouth bringing "joy to customers of all ages"

Spreading festive cheer, the bus will be travelling across Portsmouth and the surrounding area throughout December. Decked out in decorations the bus helps people get into the Christmas spirit all while raising money for a worthwhile cause.

This year it is raising money for Second Chance Children’s Charity, a charity which supports children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. It uses a number of recreational activities, including fishing and outdoor pursuits, and community-focussed programmes to foster confidence, social skills and positive engagement.

Marc Reddy, Managing Director at Stagecoach South, said: “Our Santa Bus is one of our favourite traditions, and it brings joy to customers of all ages across Portsmouth. We’re proud to support Second Chance Children’s Charity this year, their work makes a real difference to young people in our communities, especially during the holidays.

“We hope everyone who spots the Santa Bus feels a little of that festive magic, and if they can, helps us raise funds for this truly important cause.”

Travellers on the bus can look forward to surprise visits from Santa with the chance that one of his elves may join him on board.
