Anticipation as DJ Dom Whiting returns to Portsmouth for second year of Drum and Bass on The Bike - route revealed
Energetic scenes expected this weekend as mobile rave returns
Drum and bass will echo through the city this weekend as a mobile rave returns following last year’s huge turnout.
Created by DJ Dom Whiting during the pandemic as a way to rediscover human connection through music and cycling, Drum and Bass on The Bike, made its debut in Portsmouth last September.
And after attracting substantial crowds of enthusiastic cyclists with speakers, the popular DJ has confirmed he will be returning to the city on Sunday, September 27 to relive the epic event.
Taking to social media, he said: “The amount of people who came out to last year’s Pompey visit has made me realise we cannot skip it in 2026. Come on people, let’s make this bigger than the last.
“As always, anyone and any mode of transport are welcome and you can of course, bring your own speaker by simply hooking up to our online livestream wherever you are in the crowd.”
Drum and Bass on The Bike will commence from Clarence Pier at 2pm, and go in a loop into the city, returning to Clarence Pier. The ride will take between an hour and a half and two hours.
